Dr. Rowley graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine (Manhattan, KS) and completed her master's degree through the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine (Champaign, IL) before beginning her training as a veterinary ophthalmologist. After a combined residency program in veterinary ophthalmology, which featured training in microsurgical techniques and microanatomy through Purdue University Medical Teaching Hospital (Lafayette, IN) and clinical case management in referral practice setting (Indianapolis, IN) Dr. Rowley obtained her board certification with the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2005.
Her professional interests include cataract surgery, corneal surgery and repair, endoscopic laser and goniovalve implantation for the surgical management of glaucoma, medical management of corneal disease and tear film deficiency, surgical treatment of tear film deficiency, reconstructive surgical procedures for the treatment of eyelid conditions and ocular trauma, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular manifestation of systemic disease.
When Dr. Rowley is not working, her personal interests include anything outdoors. One of her favorite sayings is: "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing choices."
